all those stinking teeth that make him do this (pictured above) but imagine really, really loud! Beauty of pictures, silence, if you could only hear him now! I wouldn't mind him doing this (pictured above) if it was on "mute". This picture is actually him taking another breath before wailing again, so what I am saying is it doesn't do the face justice of what he "really" looks like while he is screaming.
He also is trying to communicate, but having a very difficult time doing so. You can often find him smacking the couch in frustration, or his head or you. He throws the worlds best temper tantrums all out of frustration which leads to screaming at you until you figure it out. I spend a lot of time saying "up", "drink", "help", etc... the only words he has decided to use are "up" and "help" which sound a lot alike but uses them somewhat correctly. Like "up" when he wants you to put him down, but "up" when he wants up...both action right?
16 months, runs around, sings, tries to keep up with brother, plays well by himself, loves attention from anyone, loves to dance, will eat anything, has most of his teeth , says "mama" "daddy", "uh-oh", "up", "help". Loves to climb and take baths. Will snuggle as long as he has his blue blanket. Very loved.

Have you tried teaching him simple sign language for things like: drink, food, finished, up, mom, dad...we taught Tavin these when he was having a hard time communicating and surprisingly he caught on-was a lot happier after. He liked that we could understand and we liked that he wouldn't scream:)
My husband's grandparents are deaf so he knows basic sign language but when we decided to try it, I googled basic signs for babies/the library had some good baby signing books as well. There are even videos about baby signing but I've never tried that. Tavin is actually very advanced in his speech-more so than others his age-Dan's sister also taught her boy signing and his speech development was normal as well...you could always do some research about it. Might be worth a try.
I totally agree with the above comments. Mady was very delayed in speech. At 2 yrs she only had like 10 words she said independently, without being prompted. So the infant/toddler program was amazing. she got speech therapy and developmental therapy at home and is doing pre-school. It has made a world of difference. You could check into it if you were concerned. They are awesome. The video Mady had was Signing Time, there are several, but she loved them and it seemed to kick start things a bit! He sure is a cutie, even screaming! :)

Teeth? Oh man, can't live with 'em can't live without 'em. Well at least they are convenient in most cases. Love the picture and I can't believe he almost has all of his teeth. Wow! what a cutie.
