This past month Ethan has graduated into the "greater than 20lbs and 1 year" category which means forward facing car seat! Yipee! Now life is grand. Yes, to all those mothers out there who completely understand how this makes me feel. No more fussy tears, trying to hand Ethan treats or his milk blindly, or in my husbands case- just throw anything over the seat for him to play with! Now, I can actually hand Ethan his cup, toys, or crackers. He enjoys bobbing his head to the music and watching everything that is going on. He even points to things outside saying them in his own language, which usually sounds like "eknooodoew" or "Dwwoooww" or "nadaaadaoooonne". I can ask him if he wants his milk while holding his cup up for him to see, and he reaches out for it when he wants it, now isn't that exciting!
